Practical calculations.
Traceable decisions.
ACMV Pro brings air conditioning and mechanical ventilation calculations into one browser workspace. It is built for engineers, designers and students who need to check inputs, compare alternatives and explain how a result was reached.
A workspace for the work between drawings and specifications
ACMV means air conditioning and mechanical ventilation. The toolkit also covers the water-side and thermal checks that support these systems. Its purpose is to make everyday engineering calculations easier to follow, save and revisit.
Loads and design flow
Estimate a single room’s sensible and latent cooling loads, then convert cooling duty into air or water flow using your design temperature difference.
Air distribution
Calculate ventilation flow, compare duct sections, size grilles and build an entered path to determine fan pressure and power.
Water distribution
Check pressure pipes and gravity drains, calculate pump duty for open or closed systems and estimate expansion-vessel capacity.
Thermal and air-state checks
Evaluate insulation and modelled condensation risk, examine fitting losses and explore moist-air properties and two-stream mixing.
Your inputs, alternatives and reports in one place
Create a local project and save calculations as you work. Selected tools support item schedules, editable entries and reports. Transfer cooling loads, design flows or fitting losses to the next calculation where supported. A transfer helps connect steps; it does not automatically keep every saved result recalculated.
Local storage, with backups you control
Projects stay in your browser on this device. There is no project cloud sync or account requirement. Export JSON to back up or transfer a project; use the print dialog to save PDF reports for review. Clearing browser data can remove saved projects. An internet connection is required to load the site.
Know what a calculation can tell you
- Cooling loads are preliminary single-room estimates under the stated assumptions.
- Fan and pump results describe the entered system duty. Confirm equipment performance with manufacturer selection data.
- Fitting coefficients and project-specific criteria are inputs to be reviewed by the user.
- Insulation results describe the modelled surface. Check joints, thermal bridges, vapour barriers and actual installation conditions separately.
